In the beginning I was very enthousiastic about this assignment (and I still am!) and in that time I was an active blogger. In other words, two weeks long I posted a blog post e-v-e-r-y day! That means that officially I was done after that two weeks: I wrote 10 blog posts with a total amount of 2000 words...

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Some people asked me why I posted every day and my answer was: I like it. I really did, but the problem was my inspiration: after two weeks I really did not know what to write about. That made me decide to start themes: on Monday the confessions of a mediaholic theme, on Wednesday the 2.0 theme and on Friday the fail or holy grail theme.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">In my first blog post I wrote about the fact that starting a blog was the sixth time I was born. Unfortunately I have to say that deleting my blog will be the first time that I will die, because of the lack of inspiration I will not continue with this blog. Thank you for reading my posts and following me!
Let's check out Greenpeace<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Brands, organizations and foundations use Social Media to spread their ideas, sell their products and get attention. Almost every brand, organization or foundation uses Social Media in one or another way. Every Friday I will write about a brand, organization or foundation and their social media campaign, but is this a fail or a holy grail? This week I will discuss the social media campagin of Greenpeace, they believe they can save the planet with social media. Do you believe it?

Personally I did not know if I do believe that social media can help Greenpeace to save the planet, but there is one example that changed my mind: the social media war between KitKat and Greenpeace.

What was the case? Greenpeace blamed Nestle, maker of KitKat of using palm oil from companies that are thrasing Indonesion rainforests, threatening the livelihoods of local people and pushing orang-utans towards extinction.

To attract the attention of thousands of people, Greenpeace edited a regular commercial of KitKat in which an employee is enjoying his KitKat in his break. They actually replaced the KitKat for the bloody fingers of an orang-utan with on the background the sounds of chainsaws. They uploaded this video on Youtube and that was the moment the hell broke loose and there happened many things in less than no time: Nestle asked Youtube to remove the video. Youtube agreed and Greenpeace started a boycot against Nestle on Facebook and other social mediums and also the Facebookpage of Nestle was bombed with thousends of reactions: why this censure?

The following video was uploaded by Greenpeace...

After reading about this social media campaign, I definitely can say that the campagin of Greenpeace is a holy grail. The way they played the game was great and they got what they want: Greenpeace asked and Nestle has answered. A new policy commits Nestle to identify and exclude companies from its supply chain with high risk plantations or farms linked to deforestation. Saving the planet hand in hand with social media sounds a little bit ambitious to me, but after this whole KitKat issue, who knows what is possible...
If you are no student but just a visitor of my blog (which I really appreciate!) I will explain Blackboard: Blackboard is a electronic learning environment which makes it possible to check your schedule, handing in homework, check your grades etc.

Blackboard is not known as the most efficient program to work with. It is very cumbrous and it looks like information is everywhere: it should be a program which is nice to work with and it could be when there were some guidelines especially for teacher were to put what kind of information. To give you an idea about the failures of Blackboard, we tested some users of Blackboard and we made a video about it.

So, back to the subject. We decided to improve Blackboard but not the website Blackboard, but we are going to design an app inspired by Blackboard. We are now in the designing phase of the project and the main tasks we are focussing on are: clear overview of classes, homework and deadlines, an option to see your to-do-list and implementing other activities in your daily schedule like dates with your friends. In other words, in our app you will have everything in one!

Are there things you would like to see in an app inspired by Blackboard? Please let me know!

Checking in for your flight anywhere and anytime. How? Simple, just use your mobile phone. The airlines do it all for you. Oh, and they even provide you with an electronic boarding pass.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The Transportation Security Administration, the federal agency that oversees security for airports, likes the electronic boarding passes too, because the two-dimensional bar codes are harder to forge than the one-dimensional bar codes that are used today on many tickets printed online.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Besides that an electronic boarding pass is more safe, airlines can also communicate directly with passengers about on-board services, provide information about baggage pickup, allow passengers to upgrade or change seating, check standby status, and help rebook canceled or delayed flights directly from their cell phones.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">All this sounds great for me and many other travelers who are busy. But for all these services to work as promised, indoor cell phone coverage will have to be beefed up in many airports. It also would not be wrong for the airports to add more power outlets. The worst thing that could happen is for my boarding pass to disappear before I can get on my flight because the battery on my cell phone died...

I see you thinking what has skiing to do with social media? Well, the skies are upgraded from wood to carbon and also the technology around: from the paper cards which you have to put in a reader to cards with chips which can be read from one meter distance.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">There is something cool about those cards with chips which all have an unique number. You can registrate this number online via <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">www.skiline.cc<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> plus you select your ski resort. After you have done this, you can check whenever you want the website to see your skiline: your passed vertical meters, the number of lifts you have taken and the downhill distance. This data can be shared with your friends within one second. You can chose you want to share this data with your friends via Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or e-mail.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Moreover, in some ski resorts there is a so called "ski movie area." This is a short downhill: when you start you have to go through a gate and scan your personal skicard. Then you start and ski down the hill, following the race-course. While you are skiing, a camera films you and also this movie can be found on <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">www.skiline.cc<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">This was my first day here in Austria, so I did not make a skimovie yet. But when I have one, I will share this with you here on my blog and Twitter. Though, these are my ski statistics of today!
Let's check out Levi's<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Brands, organizations and foundations use Social Media to spread their ideas, sell their products and get attention. Almost every brand, organization or foundation uses Social Media in one or another way. Every Friday I will write about a brand, organization or foundation and their social media campaign, but is this a fail or a holy grail? This week I will discuss the social shopping phenomenon of Levi's, which allows users of Facebook to share the 'liked' items with their friends.

Wednesday I wrote about shopping 2.0, which is called social shopping. To create this social shopping experience, Levi's has integrated the “like” functionality of Facebook into their e-commerce site. Each product is paired with a 'like' button, allowing views of who on Facebook likes the item, along with their profile photos. Taking the Facebook connect integration one step further, the brand built a 'Friend Store', where shoppers who are logged into Facebook can see a list of their friends’ favorite Levi’s products and seamlessly shop with their friends and share your online shopping decisions.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Levi is unique using this concept, so for that this campagin is a holy grail. I think this is start of a new life of online shopping, because I believe that some day, we can buy items via Facebook or another social community site.<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">At the moment, customers must still pay for the items via the retailer’s web site. However, some companies have begun testing “Facebook credits” via their Facebook/f-commerce pages. This is still very much in a trial period, but facebook credits will work similar to a pre-paid debit card; thus eliminating the need for credit card authorisations for every transaction. This will make life a lot easier for both the buyer and the seller. By making the purchase experience smoother, this will undoubtedly drive sales via Facebook in time.<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">
<span style="color: #ff0080; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">
<span style="color: #ff0080; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Until next time,

Meet Zugara's new online shopping app and you do not have to worry about these things anymore! This app couples the functionality of the reality with the ease of online shopping.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">So first of all I the app of Nu.nl which makes it possible for me to read all the news updates within a few seconds. I also use the app Socially to manage and use my Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare at one screen. The qwerty keyboard makes it even easier to update my status.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">At the picture above you see main screen of the phone fully filled with apps. I do not have this because first I do not use so many apps and second it does not work for me. The only app that is on the main screen is AccuWeather which allows me to see the wetter per hour for every place in the world I like to see it from. And in stead of many other weather forecasts, this one is very precise and reliable.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">As I said, I use my Nokia N97 for about one and half a year now and I still like it, but I think it is also time for a new one ;).
Let's check out Unilever<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Brands, organizations and foundations use Social Media to spread their ideas, sell their products and get attention. Almost every brand, organization or foundation uses Social Media in one or another way. Every Friday I will write about a brand, organization or foundation and their social media campaign, but is this a fail or a holy grail? This week I will discuss the Cornetto campaign of Unilever, which allowed people on the streets to play a game projected on a building in Istanbul.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The message that Cornetto wanted to spread was that Cornetto helps reach out to people that you want to be with: Cornetto ice can act as an icebreaker. They did not want art for art's sake, but they wanted a campagin with true interactivity that would be linked to the brand's key message.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">They chose Istanbul as their location, but when doing an outdoor event a clearly location is one of the most critical elements. Unilever chose Beyoglu, because this is the nightlife and pedestrian center of Istabul: over 1 million people pass every day.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The actual campaign was about playing a game displayed on a building. A special number was projected onto the wall of the building and customers could dial this number to get connected to the game. An IVR (Interactive Voice Respond) welcomed them and explained the game. Each player was assigned a different color character on the "screen" and the players had to move their character (by using the keys of their mobile phone) around and try to catch 3 Cornetto ice creams in less than 45 seconds. When a player succeeded, the player got a big heart on the screen and received an SMS with a coupon for a real Cornetto at the event bar.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">This campaign was very succesfull, but what made this campaign succesfull? The first thing is the multiplayer part: a large number of people could be involved simultaneously. Moreover, there was competition between the players, because everyone tried to catch the same ice creams on the screen. The last thing is the reward part of the game: having a real reward - an ice cream - on a hot summer night made it worth playing.
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">In short, this campaign was defenitely a holy grail! It was a stroke of genius to do a interactive outdoor campaign with a lot of people at the same time, spreading their message of togetherness and at the same time creating togetherness plus promoting their ice creams. Therefore, it was quite rightly that Unilever won the <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">award<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> for best mobile advertising & marketing campaign.
The Globile Mobile Awards offer organisations across the mobile world to showcase their latest and best mobile products, service and initiatives to the world.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The three main awards to win were the award for best mobile device, best device manufacturer and best mobile application.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">And the winners are...
The judges' comments were: "Great screen, sharp design, fantastic materials, and phenomenal ecosystem for app developers. In a tight race, the iPhone 4 built on the success of its predecessors to set the pace for smart phones."

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">HTC won the first prize in the category best device manufacturer. The judges' comments were: "This company has built its market presence from nowhere, with fresh branding and marketing and a strong portfolio of devices across many platforms. In particular, it has proven an exceptionally popular and enduring phone manufacturer. With great communication and good customer service, this is a well-deserved award."

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The game Angrybirds won the award in the category best mobile application. The judges thought that this application was "simple, intuitive, incredibly addictive, and perfect for “snacking” consumption. It has underlined the importance of the applications market, and helped raise the credibility of small independent developers outside the mainstream."
Every Wednesday I will write a blog post about Web 2.0 related to a specific topic. This week it will be Web 2.0 and business cards: Has social media killed the traditional business card?

Online networking and social media are 'hot'. I think you all know about the traditional paper business cards and may be you have the business card of people some you met. Those traditional business cards mention your name, function, contact information and company you are working for. But with the coming of social media, there are so many other ways to reach you or to see what the company is up to.

So that is why Bram Groenen, invented the Social Card. This card is social, because this card is linked to a personal webaddress which you get when you order your social card. This address is mentioned on your social card and when you surf to this webaddress, all your online profiles are mentioned together with your name and pitch. In this way it is very easy to connect your offline contacts with your online contacts.

Social cards are business cards 2.0, because they involve the social media aspect. I do not think social media killed the traditional business card, but the social cards are the second childhood of the traditional business cards. In other words, the business card has grown up!
And there I saw that girl called Mascha and she was telling me in her video how to get those loosy curls just like Lauren. But I also saw that she had her own website. So I googled Mascha and found out she had her own website: Beautygloss, a website all about beauty. I started reading her blog, day after day and I was fascinated by the way she was telling me how to apply my foundation, how to create smokey eyes and which mask is fantastic for your skin.

And nowadays I follow 13 blogs (mostly beautyblogs) and I read their posts every day. “Do you surf to each of these websites a few times e-ve-ry day?” No, I do not surf to each website three times a day - there was a time I did - but I manage all my favorite blogs with Bloglovin’: One website with my favorite blogs and their latest updates.

<span style="color: #ff0080; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Until next time,

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Eline Jansen, Mediaholic

Let's check out Citroën<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Brands, organizations and foundations use Social Media to spread their ideas, sell their products and get attention. Almost every brand, organization or foundation uses Social Media in one or another way. Every Friday I will write about a brand, organization or foundation and their social media campaign, but is this a fail or a holy grail? <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">This week I will discuss the Dating 2.0 campaign of Citroën, which allows you to create your perfect date.

The videos of yesterday could not keep me from trying this out... So, this should be my dream date and car:

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The British division of Citroën launched in September last year the latest marketing initiative to promote a new car, the DS3 model. Citroën unveiled the latest relationship innovation, Dating 2.0. This service allows users to create their perfect date through interactive technology, which would be - if we have to believe Citroën - the 21st century way to make a date.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">By clicking on <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">www.dating2.co.uk<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">, visitors will find a online facility that invites them first to select their maile or female preference and after this they can choose their desired characteristics for the face, torso and legs. Finally, visitors can meet their perfect digital partner, together with a matching DS3 model. Users can share their perfect date with friends as well as requesting a DS3 brochure or a test drive.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Maybe the company's trying to tell us something like hey, the DS3 is the car with which you will get your dream man or woman. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">I think this campaign was a well thought idea of Citroën: it is trendy, modern and adapts to the future. At the same time I have my doubts about the effect, because do not believe in perfectionism. It is true that I strive for perfectionism in everything I do, but at the same time I know it is not possible. And come on, picking that head with those legs, no thanks (only the idea makes me sick). So overall I can say it is fun to do and it is a well played campaign. I would say this campaign is no holy grail, but definitely no fail.

What do you think of this campaign and did you create your perfect date?
Every Wednesday I will write a blog post about Web 2.0 related to a specific topic. This week it will be Web 2.0 and dating: Has social media killed the blind date?

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Sitting in a bar I hear two friends talking about the attractive qualities of their potential love interest. "He also likes the music of Adele." "Oh, and he likes to play tennis, so may be we could play a game sometime." "By the way, this friend of him is cute too!"

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">"Have you met this guy yet?" I ask one of my friends. "Oh no" she laughs, "I Facebooked him!" That sentence sparked a intriguing question: Has social media killed the blind date? When it comes to a blind date, the excitement of it is the mystery and the quesetions who follow: What does he look like? Do we have anything in common? What will his first impression be of me?

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">However, social media allowed us to put as much or less information about ourselves on profiles as we wanted. Taking that in mind, I think that there will be hardly anybody who does not have an online identity. Having said this, I have to conclude that social media officially killed the blind date.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">I have to admit that I am partial to the meet-your-significant-other-at-university, the killing of the blind date is not that bad at all: I do not have to worry about awkward silences anymore, I just have to think back about his profile. It might be there is no blind date anymore, but may be we have to call it I-have-seen-your-profile-date.

<span style="color: #ff0080; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Until next time,
But imagine how it would be if you would say everything what you normally would tweet in public.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Yesterday<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> I wrote about some tips and tricks for twitter newbies and that Twitter is not only about what you are doing, but also how you are feeling, what you are up to, what you are feeling and thinking. But still you have to think about what you want to share with the world or not. It is easy to write some rules down which describe what you should and what you should not tweet about. But in my opinion this is very personal, everyone uses Twitter for its own objective.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">So to let you think about what you want to share with the world, w<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">atch this short video to imagine how it would when you would be <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">'Twittering in real life'<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> (unfortunately the option to embed this video was not available).
Read these tips and tricks!<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">"Do we all have to set up a Twitter account?" was the question during our first lecture. "Yes, you do" was the answer. Lucky me, I already ad an account but a lot of students did not have one. For them and those who want to learn more about Twitter I wrote this blog post about some tips and tricks for newbies in the world of Twitter!

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">First of all, Twitter is not only for writing about what you are doing..
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Some people say: "Oh, so you are just saying all the time what you are doing?" That is not what is Twitter about nowadays. On the contrary, a play-by-play of your day's events is not going to draw people in. You do not have to answer the question "what are you doing?" but you have to answer questions like "what has your attention?" "what are you up to?" and "what are you thinking?"

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Hashtags, retweets and private messages.. What?
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Did you get the 'Oh my' feeling when you saw all the #s and @s when you signed in for the first time? Use the @ symbol before a Twitter user's name to link to that profile. Use hashtags (# followed by a word) to get your post to show under a particular category. You can also send someone a direct (private) message. If you just started using Twitter, use the @ and the # to get linked to the larger Twitter community.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Link your accounts..
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">I still hear a lot of people saying: "I already have a Hyves and Facebook account, another account like Twitter takes too much time." Sorry, but this excuse does not make any sense. You can link all your accounts together, so you are still able to eat three meals a day but you are still taking advantage of all the different networks you have.

<span style="color: #ff0080; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Until nex time,

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">For a lot of people it might be a little bit scary to tell their crush that they actually like that person, but now there is a solution. If you know that your crush or lover has a Twitter account, surf to the website of <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Valentijnstweet<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">, type @ followed by the Twitter name of your crush or lover and then simply write down your message! You have until midnight tonight to put all your messages ready, tomorrow the messages will be 'delivered'. And of course you can also suprise your friends with an anonymous tweet!

I liked my first design, because it had that 'desk-look' and it was pink (sorry I am a girl, cannot help it). Nevertheless, I have to admit that I was still looking for other designs, because I wanted something sophistaced and smooth, but still me. And I think (I hope actually) that I found it!
Besides, I was still thinking about a blogname and thinking about what was typical me, but I had to find a name which enclosed the content and subjects of my blog. I really admire the people who have that great oneliner or wordplay as the name of their blog and I did not come any further (at the beginning) with me and the communication thing that we have to write about. So I started thinking about me and the things I like to do and may be things I am addicted to.. And then, *ping* I saw the light! I might be called a shopaholic, but I am also a mediaholic! A what? Yes, a mediaholic. I spend time each day checking web sites ranging from the news to the personal blogs of people (also people I have never met), I check my Twitter and e-mail account 24/7, in other words: I am online all the time.

The main goal of the foundation Pink Ribbon is to recruit new donations and friends (members of the foundation). If you ever think about setting up an online campaign making use of social media, read this blog post because Pink Ribbon knew how to do it and I will explain what their secret was to success.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">As I said, Pink Ribbon wanted to recruit new donators and friends of their foundation. They chose for a social media campaign to reach this goal. The goal of recruiting new donators and friends of the foundation was reached when there would be dedicated volunteers on the internet who take care and responsibility for the communities on the social media platforms on which Pink Ribbon was active. But the question always will be: What is the secret to stand out and be different in this big bulb called the world of social media and Internet?

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The biggest secret of the social media campaign of Pink Ribbon was to set up a value chain which consisted of five steps. And for each step different social media platforms were used, because the users of the different platforms require a different approach. This insight was strike one.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The picture above shows the value chain that was used by Pink Ribbon and their social media campaign. The first step of the chain was awareness. On Twitter, Youtube and forums people were made aware of ideas, thoughts and plans of the foundation. The story of Pink Ribbon was told on this platforms. LinkedIn and Facebook were used to lead the users through the information and LinkedIn was used for the business part and Facebook for the social part. The next step was to make people preferring this foundation instead of others. The website nationalegoededoelentest.nl was used to test if people really liked the foundation and when results proved they did, it was time for the next step. Now it was time to take action and this meant that new donators could donate money. The last step and the one who makes or breaks the campaign is to create loyalty. The goal was to create timeless loyalty for the foundation and not for once. Via Flickr, people were able to follow events and to keep in touch with the foundation.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NL;">The result of their way of working was 10.000 new members of their Facebook group in one month (!) and 15.000 women who were registered as new friends of the foundation.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NL;">Instead of attracting people, Pink Ribbon choose to look for the people, observe them and chose the right way of approach regarding to their value chain. This was the big secret and key element of their social media campagin. In other words, Pink Ribbon “fished were the fish were.”
Not really a new one, but the sixth one. Nineteen years ago, I was born in Weert and since then I was born in the land of Hyves , Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter and now also in the land of blogging! And do I regret it? Not at all! I would not say this was a dream of me, but I kind of liked it when I heard last Friday during the lecture Business Information Technology that we all had to set up a blog. Many times I thought about starting a blog, but at the same time I thought: “What the hell on earth do I have to write about? There is nothing special about me.” But I still liked the thought of having a blog and having followers who would read your blog posts and so on. And now I am here, discovering this whole new life.
At this moment I think most of my blog posts will be about social media ,since this part of communication has my biggest interest and I am also very active on the internet. I have done some online campaigns, as well as political as commercial. But enough about my ideas and thoughts, just follow my blog and you will have fun reading my blog posts and I hope I can learn you something about communication. I am writing this introduction blog post and I promise, that I, Eline Jansen, writer of the blog elinejansen.blogspot.com will post every Friday and Tuesday a new topic. I chose a desk in the style of Pink Ribbon, because I like the foundation and I will dedicate my first real blog post (which will be online tomorrow) to Pink Ribbon.
Eline Jansenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00788442814114126720noreply@blogger.com0
