Confessions of a Mediaholic: Time to say goodbye!

Labels: , , , | 0 reacties»

It has been a time ago that I wrote my official last blogpost. In the beginning I was very enthousiastic about this assignment (and I still am!) and in that time I was an active blogger. In other words, two weeks long I posted a blog post e-v-e-r-y day! That means that officially I was done after that two weeks: I wrote 10 blog posts with a total amount of 2000 words...

Some people asked me why I posted every day and my answer was: I like it. I really did, but the problem was my inspiration: after two weeks I really did not know what to write about. That made me decide to start themes: on Monday the confessions of a mediaholic theme, on Wednesday the 2.0 theme and on Friday the fail or holy grail theme.

In my first blog post I wrote about the fact that starting a blog was the sixth time I was born. Unfortunately I have to say that deleting my blog will be the first time that I will die, because of the lack of inspiration I will not continue with this blog. Thank you for reading my posts and following me!

Until next time,
Eline Jansen, Mediaholic

As one of the final assignments for the course Business Information Technology we had to make a webvideo about one of our teachers. Our choice was the inspiring Suleman Shadid, our teacher for User Interface Design. Whether you know him or not, watch this video to get to know him better and to learn more about his research and the road to his PhD!

Until next time,

Confessions of a Mediaholic, part 5: Sneak Peek!

| 0 reacties»

Every week I will write a personal blog post about me and social media. This week I will tell you more about a course I am following: User Interface Design. In groups we have to design an interface with the goal to make lives of people (in our case the lives of students) a little bit easier. Curious about what we are designing?

In this blog post I told you more about our design and why we wanted to design an app based on Blackboard. This week I show you a few pictures, a sneak peek of our design! Next week I hope I can show you our fully working app!

Until next time,
Eline Jansen, Mediaholic

Brands, organizations and foundations use Social Media to spread their ideas, sell their products and get attention. Almost every brand, organization or foundation uses Social Media in one or another way. Every Friday I will write about a brand, organization or foundation and their social media campaign, but is this a fail or a holy grail? This week I will discuss the social media campagin of Greenpeace, they believe they can save the planet with social media. Do you believe it?
